MARCELO BIELSA: I HAVE TO TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY - Leedsunited.com 14/12/41

Marcelo Bielsa gave his thoughts to the media after his side were well beaten against top of the table Manchester City.

The hosts scored early in the game and comfortably secured the three points.

“There’s nothing positive to take away from our performance, I can’t find anything that can be valued.” Bielsa explained.

“As a result and as is natural in these cases, when there is nothing that is well done it’s not the individualities that fail, but the conduction, the organisation, there’s no justification I can offer.

“The game was exactly how we thought it was going to be. We prepared ourselves to avoid everything that happened.

“We didn’t manage to get anything so the superiority wouldn’t be noticeable.

“We didn’t do anything well, and that was evident in the scoreline. I insist, everything that happened was what we wanted to avoid and needed to overcome.

“And as there is nothing to rescue or take from it in the individual and collective, it’s inevitable I have to take the responsibility for a defeat of this type.

“We’ve never had a performance like the one today.”
