By David Kent Leeds have announced a strategic partnership with the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers. Representatives of the American team will travel to Leeds to discuss aspects of the club’s business. Leeds managing director David Haigh told the club’s official website: 'This is a strategic partnership and we’re looking forward to working closely with the 49ers. 'They are a worldwide brand, and we’ll be discussing all aspects of our business; marketing, ticketing, merchandising, and commercial opportunities, and hopefully tapping into and sharing knowledge with them.' Kebe becomes January signing number two... Crystal Palace winger Jimmy Kebe is the second January signing to arrive at Leeds United. The 29-year-old joins on an initial loan deal until the end of the season with the option of a permanent deal in the summer. Kebe, who has played in the Premier League for both Reading and Crystal Palace, is well-known to United manager Brian McDermott and was part of his promotion winning squad at the Madejski Stadium in 2012. The United manager said: “Jimmy is a player that I scouted from France in 2006. He has fantastic pace, he is a real team player, and he made and scored goals for us in the Championship and the Premier league. I’m delighted he’s come on board and I’m really looking forward to working with him again.” Kebe, who started his career in France and had spells with Lens, Chateauroux, and Boulogne, made almost 200 appearances for Reading before making the move to Palace last summer.
