Daniel Farke: We want to keep this momentum — Leedsunited.com 13/2/25
Boss shares his thoughts on the big win at Vicarage Road.
Leeds United produced another excellent performance away
from home in midweek, comfortably defeating Watford in the Sky Bet
Championship.
The Whites scored four at Vicarage Road and impressively
kept another clean sheet, making it 20 for the season from 32 games played.
Speaking after the match, Daniel Farke gave his thoughts on
the performance.
He said: “I'm pretty, pretty happy with this, pretty happy
with the win, pretty happy of course with the scoreline, especially also with
the clean sheet. For that, compliments to my lads.
“To win at such a difficult place on the road and with such
a crazy schedule that we have at the moment, and also to make sure that we do
this with a clean sheet and to score many goals and show really an excellent
level of performance is pretty pleasing.
“We know that we have a good momentum and we are in great
shape. But we have to use it in order to ride this momentum further on and
yeah, we want to keep going.
“So after 32 game days to be there with 69 points is
outstanding. But yeah, the judgment is just there in May when we've played 46
games.
“So for that, we want to keep this momentum and stay awake
and stay on it. And the momentum can change.
“We have to stay focused and professional.”
