White to join Sheffield United until the New Year
Leeds United utility man Aidy White is set to join Sheffield United on loan.
The versatile youngster will join the League One strugglers, who are now managed by Nigel Clough, until January.
Leeds boss Brian McDermott expects a deal to be completed with the blades at the start of the week.
Speaking on Radio Leeds, McDermott said, "We have had discussions with Sheffield United about Aidy White. We have an agreement with them for him to join them until January."
Clough has been a long-time admirer of White, having tried to sign the 22-year-old in the summer of 2012 whilst he was Derby boss.
White turned down a move to Barnsley on transfer deadline day in August as he wished to fight for a first team place at Elland Road but he has made just three appearances this season.
