Blades set to raid Leeds for versatile White
Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough is hoping to secure his first signing for the club with the arrival of Aidy White from Leeds United.
Clough has enquired about the versatile 22-year-old who has made over 100 appearances for Leeds.
Speaking on Radio Sheffield, Clough said, "We have made an enquiry for him and we will know a bit more on Monday or Tuesday.
"He can play anywhere on the left hand side. He has good quality, his career has stuttered in the last eighteen months and I think he is a good player."
The speedy player can play on either wing or in defence and he has represented both England and Republic of Ireland. He represented England at under-19 level before switching to the Ireland under-21side.
White has made just three appearances for Leeds this season.
