Marius Zaliukas free for Development fixture…
The club has received international clearance for former Hearts skipper Marius Zaliukas.
The Lithuanian international went straight into the side for the Development Squad fixture against Sheffield Wednesday (12noon) at Thorp Arch on Tuesday.
Zaliukas has been training with the club since the back end of last week and United manager Brian McDermott is keeping a watchful eye on the defender.
The central defender made over 200 appearances for Hearts and was close to joining Queens Park Rangers before heading north.
