Daniel Farke becomes first ever manager in Leeds United’s history to achieve extraordinary feat — Leeds United News 19/4/25

As Daniel Farke is close to guiding Leeds United back to the
Premier League, it’s clear some credit is due.
Farke has had to take some stick in recent weeks.
Leeds fans said Farke’s position was insecure, but after
three wins on bounce in the Championship, he’s now turned into a living legend.
It’s some achievement to come back from claims that his
status as Leeds boss was under threat.
He’s done so in fine fashion and now has become the only
ever Leeds manager to do something in the club’s entire history.
The German is no Don Revie yet, as that will take a lot more
work, but he can make a real statement by having Leeds compete in the Premier
League.
There have been claims of dampening his chances already, as
Carlton Cole has questioned Farke’s future.
Although promotion isn’t secured, four points is all it
takes as the Leeds manager will be heading for the 100-point mark.
He might not have the 100 points yet, but what he has done
now is incredible, being the only manager in the Whites’ history to achieve
this.
Farke has become the first-ever Leeds manager to achieve
consecutive 90-point league seasons in the club’s extraordinary 106-year
history.
Farke is surely up there for Leeds’ managers in recent time
He’s still got plenty to prove, this is known, but to get
back-to-back 90-point seasons in the Championship is impressive.
This is enough for the title on any given season, but due to
the standard in recent years, it’s gone against Farke.
Marcelo Bielsa will obviously take the reins for the best
manager in recent Leeds history after his title-winning season and a solid
Premier League showing, but if Farke can secure Leeds’ safety next season, he’s
within a shout.
