Leeds United boss issues Luis Sinisterra injury update and mulls team training changes 'problem' - YEP 31/10/22
Jesse Marsch has provided an injury update on the condition of Colombian winger Luis Sinisterra whom the Leeds United boss hopes to have back on the pitch this week.

Sinisterra was one of five injury doubts for Saturday
night's Premier League clash at Liverpool along with Tyler Adams, Joe Gelhardt,
Rodrigo and captain Liam Cooper but the latter quartet all made the matchday
squad. Adams, Cooper and Rodrigo all started as Marsch's side ended a run of eight
games without a win through a thrilling 2-1 victory in which Gelhardt was an
unused substitute. The triumph hauled United out of the drop zone into 15th
place and Marsch was optimistic of receiving another boost in the aftermath of
the Reds win through the return of Sinisterra following a foot injury.
"We hope that he will be in training this week,"
said Marsch after Saturday night’s win at Anfield. "We hope that it's not
too bad. It's a little sprain in his foot. He was still pretty sore yesterday
(Friday) but the swelling has gone down each day and hopefully we can get him
on the pitch this week."
Marsch also revealed that he was facing problematic
decisions on the way that Leeds train this week in the approach to next
weekend’s hosting of Bournemouth having made alterations ahead of the Saturday
night trip to Anfield. Leeds approached the Liverpool date having taken just
two points from a last possible 24 and Marsch was keen to mix matters up in a
bid to change United's fortunes.
"We tried to change some things," said United's
American head coach. "A little bit of everything. Nobody wants to go to
the same routine all the time and whether it was set piece preparation or with
video or with what the training week is and the emphasis is, I’ve got to figure
out which things to keep. I'm not superstitious at all, but I started changing
everything up but the problem is now I don't know what to keep and what to
change back."
