Radrizzani holds trump cards regarding Raphinha's exit
Leeds Utd hold all the trump cards relating to Raphinha's
future, whether it be at Elland Road or elsewhere next season. The Brazilian
ace has been heavily linked with a Summer move to the Camp Nou. If the rumours
are true, has already agreed personal terms with the Catalan Giants, even
though he has over two years of his four year contract remaining.
Barcelona see Raphinha as the perfect replacement for
Ousmane Dembélé, who will depart in the Summer, leaving a big void. Obviously,
with finances tight, they don't want to part with more than what they can get
away with!
How can Leeds play hard ball? Barcelona need Raphinha! He is
that missing piece of the jigsaw. The longer the saga goes on, the more
desperate Xavi gets. Also, Raphinha will already have one eye on the World Cup
which starts in November and can't afford to be frozen out by Leeds or left on
the bench to rot. This would be a risky strategy but would certainly throw a
spanner in the works for Deco who may be plotting behind Leeds backs.
Daily Mirror journalist has also denied rumours this
morning, that the 25yo has a buyout clause in his contract, unless of course
Leeds are relegated.
Leeds to target Aaronson and Garner in the Summer
Phil Hay believes Leeds will renew their interest in RB
Salzburg Midfielder Brenden Aaronson this Summer, and may also target James
Garner too. Garner, 21 is a product of the Manchester Utd academy since the
tender age of nine. He has played in every England age group from the Under
17's and is an exciting commodity. The central midfielder has enjoyed rave
reviews from the City ground where he has spent this season.
Aaronson as we know is an attacking midfielder, and actually
played under Jesse Marsch during his tenure with the Red Bull outfit. Sources
from Austria claim the 21yo is keen to join Leeds in the Summer. According to
Hay...
The intention is, or certainly was, to bid again for
Aaronson. He’s interested in the move, he’s played under Jesse Marsch before
and Salzburg are likely to be more open to bids in the summer than they were in
January. It’ll be interesting to see who Leeds target. James Garner, the Manchester
United midfielder who’s on loan at Nottingham Forest in the Championship and
having a very good year, is someone I’ve heard mentioned recently.
