Midfielder on joining Leeds.
New Leeds United signing Sean McGurk spoke exclusively to LUTV after joining the club.
The attacking midfielder has completed a move from Sky Bet League One side Wigan Athletic, signing a three-year deal at Elland Road.
The 18-year-old expressed his happiness of signing for Leeds and explained his strengths on the pitch.
“I’m over the moon the deal has finally gone through,” said McGurk.
“I can’t wait to get started and have a good beginning to pre-season.
“The football the club plays as a whole is very exciting, it’s free-flowing football and with the type of player I am, I think I will suit it well.
“When my friends and family found out that Leeds were interested, the first thing everybody said was how big of a club it is, so Leeds wanting to sign me is a massive honour and I can’t wait to get going.
“People describe me as a player who is quite exciting, I like to create goals and score goals and I think that is the strongest part of my game.
“Coming in I need to concentrate on getting fit and adapting to how the club play and over the next couple of seasons I just want to do the best that I can.”
