Inside Futbol 29/6/21 Upfront Fee Leeds United Paying For Amari Miller Identified
Leeds United only paid an upfront fee of £200,000 to sign Amari Miller from Birmingham City in the ongoing transfer window, according to The Athletic.
The 18-year-old has left the Blues to move to Elland Road
this summer as part of a deal between the two clubs.
The winger is a highly-rated talent and Leeds believe that
they have secured a good deal to sign the youngster from Birmingham City.
He made five Championship appearances last season and the
Blues were keen to keep him at the club on a longer-term deal.
But it has been claimed that they waited too long to offer
him a new contract and Leeds moved swiftly to convince Miller to move to Elland
Road.
The Whites paid an upfront fee of £200,000 to secure his
signature from Birmingham City this summer.
The overall package could go up to £1.5m if he fulfils his
potential at Leeds going forward and achieves the goals set in the agreement.
Miller will join the Leeds Under-23 set-up for the time
being but will be followed closely by Marcelo Bielsa.
He will hope to do enough to break into the Leeds first team
as soon as possible.
