Leeds United: Cellino and sons named club directors

Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino and his sons, Edoardo and Ercole, have been named as directors of the Elland Road club.
The three Cellino family members join a six-man United board which also includes chairman Salah Nooruddin, Salem Patel and Daniel Arty.
Arty’s appointment as a director was confirmed last week, little over a month after he and Cellino pushed through a 75 per cent buy-out of Leeds from Gulf Finance House (GFH) through their UK company, Eleonora Sport Limited.
Patel - one of the architects of GFH’s takeover of United in 2012 - has been a board member for around 18 months, and Nooruddin became club chairman last summer.
Under the terms of Cellino’s recent buy-out of Leeds, Nooruddin is to stay as chairman until the end of next season. Neither he nor Patel have been seen as Elland Road for several months.
