The Championship outfit's top goalscorer Ross McCormack has been constantly been linked with a move away from Elland Road, with West Ham and Sunderland keen admirers.
But Cellino has eased any worries of the fans by claiming he has no intention of making Leeds - a team known for integrating young players into the first-team - a selling club.
The Italian businessman was forced to do so as chairman of Serie A side Cagliari, but wants to see Leeds grow.
"I came here with a big dream, to find if I am good at running a club," Cellino said.
"I spent the last 23 years [at Cagliari] buyingbeautiful players for £1m. I saw them grow and then they have to leave. Every time you have to start again because the club doesn't grow like the players.
"If I can do the same thing here at Leeds, the club can grow like the player, so we don't have to sell - we can keep them."
