Radebe to front Leeds consortium?

To Ell And Back 16/11/13
Rumours are growing that Lucas Radebe will front a UK based consortium who will buy a stake in Leeds United.
Radebe was guest of honour at our recent home game with Birmingham, flying in from his native South Africa but the word is he might become even more involved in the club he graced for 10 years as a player.
Rumours late on Friday suggest that Radebe will be the figurehead by an ambitious plan by Leeds United Supporters Trust (LUST) and an unnamed wealthy individual, who will put up £2m with the trust and Leeds fans matching the £2m stake holding bringing £4m into the club.
To be honest, we have heard that many investment/takeover rumours ranging from Chinese car-wiper blade billionaires to members of the Sainsbury's dynasty and Don Revie's son Duncan, one is tempted to roll ones eyes to the sky and laugh it off, however I must admit the romantic fantasist within me hopes this is true.
Radebe is a modern day legend, end of. No matter what you think of LUST, you cannot argue that they have always had the interests of Leeds United at heart. Rather than constantly snipe at LUST and dish the dirt on their Chairman Gary Cooper, which Ken Bates did, GFH capital have engaged with them and maybe the fans acquiring a stake in the club will go from pipe dream to reality?
In August, Chairman Saleh Nooruddin told us investment was "close", LUST also appeared on BBC Radio Leeds this week discussing "fan ownership/investment" so maybe at last an official announcement shall be imminent.
