McDermott green light to bring in two players

New Leeds United Chairman Salah Nooruddin has told TalkSport editor Ben Jacobs that they have the club have given Brian McDermott the go ahead to bring in up to two more players before the transfer window closes.
Leeds have brought in just three players so far this summer and McDermott is desperate to add to his squad before the transfer window closes on August 31st.
McDermott admitted recently that he needs to offload players before he can bring in new signings, but Nooruddin says he has the go ahead to bring in two more players before the window closes having already backed him this summer with the signing of Luke Murphy, the clubs first £1 million signing in eight years.
"We gave him money to bring in Luke Murphy, who is doing a tremendous job.
"We have told him to look to bring in one or two more players before the transfer window closes."
McDermott is still desperate to land a crucial fourth signing, one that he has been chasing all summer.
It has been confirmed this summer that Leeds have enquires about Bolton Wanderers defender Matt Mills.
The central defender was McDermott`s captain during their time together at Reading and he was left out of the Bolton squad for their season opener at Burnley at the weekend.
Talksport have linked Leeds with a move for another of McDermott`s former Reading players, with midfielder Jobi McAnuff being linked this week.
