English soccer outfit Leeds United have agreed a new corporate partnership with MBi Consulting.
The Halifax-based firm’s deal is hinged on the club’s Grassroots scheme, which gives junior fans the opportunity to attend games and take part in matchday activities. MBi will have extensive branding across the south-east corner of Leeds’ Elland Road home ground, where Grassroots participants are based during games.
The firm, which operates and constructs property developments throughout the north of England, will also support the club’s Corner CafĂ© scheme, which supports members of the local community affected by dementia.
Leeds United’s director of commercial affairs, Paul Bell, said: “We are delighted that MBi are joining our commercial partners programme and will become our grassroots partner for the new season. The Grassroots scheme continues to go from strength-to-strength, last season we welcomed over 160 local clubs to Elland Road and we are looking forward to developing the scheme further alongside MBi.”
