Leeds United are close to signing Italian duo Marco Silvestri and Tommaso Bianchi, with each poised over a three-year contract with the Yorkshire giants.
Massimo Cellino, the owner of the Elland Road outfit, is working on signings from his homeland with former Cagliari sporting director Nicola Salerno.
The English Championship side have been linked with a raft of players and today signed goalkeeper Stuart Taylor.
However, more imminent arrivals are on the cards with Silvestri and Bianchi set to join, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.
Each will sign for Leeds on permanent deals, with three-year contracts on the table.
Bianchi is a midfielder and will boost Leeds' options in the middle of the park. The 25-year-old turned out for Serie B side Modena last term.
Silvestri meanwhile is a former Italy Under-21 goalkeeper and spent time on loan at Cellino's former club Cagliari last season.
The 23-year-old was developed in the youth ranks at Modena before joining Chievo Verona in 2011.
