Noel Hunt on the way back for Leeds

Noel Hunt is hoping to resume full training with Leeds United on Friday as the club face up to the loss of Dexter Blackstock.
Hunt appears to be closing in on a comeback after undergoing successful treatment on a nerve problem in one hamstring.
The Republic of Ireland striker has been unavailable for several weeks with an injury he first suffered at the end of August but he is on the verge of completing his recovery.
“I’ve been working hard and I’m looking to get a full session in on Friday,” Hunt said. “I’m guided by the physios but I’m desperate to get back in the thick of it. I’m not too far away now.”
United were hit last night by the news that Blackstock will miss the rest of the season with a serious knee injury, ending his emergency loan from Nottingham Forest.
Hunt said: “It’s a real shame. He’s a good, strong player and he’s been great to have around the place.”
