Leeds United Football Club - Viduka Makes Boro Move
Viduka Makes Boro Move
Mark Viduka has become the latest departure from Elland Road after completing his move to Middlesbrough.
The Australian striker passed a medical with the Teesside club last weekend and was given permission to train with the Teesside club before officially become a Middlesbrough player today.
Viduka arrived at Leeds from Celtic in July 2000 for £6m and quickly began to find the net, scoring 22 goals in his first season.
In 166 appearances for The Whites he scored 72 times, perhaps the most memorable performance being the four goals he scored in one game against Liverpool in November 2000.
Meanwhile, Ian Harte is also moving closer to leaving Elland Road.
The Irish international is set to undergo a medical with newly promoted Spanish Primera Liga side Levante, and is understood to have already agreed personal terms with the Valencia based club.
Harte is set to be unveiled as a Levante player on Friday afternoon.
