Ange Postecoglou shares his plans for Leeds United star Manor Solomon amid Tottenham injury woes — Leeds United News 24/1/25

Leeds United fans will be hoping that Manor Solomon will be able to continue his fine form in the Championship.

The Leeds winger is currently on loan from Tottenham and has been flourishing under Daniel Farke.

Much has been made of the Israeli’s future at Leeds as he seems like he’s right at home at Elland Road, as Tottenham fans want Leeds to sign Solomon.

Solomon joked about his love for Dan James as he clearly has a great relationship with the Leeds squad and doesn’t feel unsettled with the Whites.

Spurs have endured an incredibly unlucky season with injuries, as Ange Postecoglou has given his verdict on whether Solomon will be needed back at his parent club.

Leeds fans are clearly in love with Solomon, and the saying ‘never fall in love with a loan player’ becomes increasingly likely.

Solomon himself loves it at Leeds and it seems like a match made in heaven for the 25-year-old winger.

However, Postecoglou may have had Leeds fans on edge when he was asked about the prospect of recalling Solomon due to Spurs’ luck with injuries.

All in all, it’s good news from a Leeds point of view, as in his pre-match press conference for Tottenham’s game against Leicester, the Spurs boss when asked about Solomon potentially returning said “No”.

Solomon not being recalled from Leeds comes as a surprise

Solomon was once again fantastic in Leeds’ 2-0 win against Norwich City.

Tottenham did have the chance to recall Solomon this January, and although he didn’t work out at Spurs, his form this season would trump a lot of Tottenham’s current flock of players.

Postecoglou is enduring a serious injury crisis, as the Australian manager now has 14 first-team players out.

It does come as a shock that Postecoglou hasn’t even considered recalling the winger who has arguably been one of the best in his position in the Championship this season.

Nonetheless, you won’t see Leeds fans complaining, as a permanent deal for Solomon could be on the horizon.
