Leeds United have unveiled their away kit for the 2024-25 season

Leeds United have officially unveiled their 2024-25 adidas away kit with a nod back to the club’s illustrious history. The shirt is inspired by the one wore during the 1973-1974 campaign, when Leeds won the First Division title under Don Revie when they beat Liverpool to top spot by five points.

The shirt for the upcoming season also brings back the iconic smiley crest, which was used during the title-winning campaign under Revie 50 years ago. The shirt is a bold yellow with a distinctive blue tipped button-up collar and the signature adidas 3 stripes in split blue and white across the shoulders.

Head of Digital, Marketing & Retail at Leeds United, Aaron Duckmanton said: “We are delighted to partner with adidas once again to deliver a truly special away shirt for the upcoming season. Both the colour yellow and the smiley crest are iconic parts of the club’s history, and we hope fans will enjoy wearing this modern interpretation with pride throughout this season.”

The shirt is sponsored by Red Bull, with the logo of the energy drinks brand matching the colour of the shirt to give it a sleek all-round look. The kit is available to purchase online and in Leeds United club stores from today while it also available online at JD Sports and in Norway with Torshov Sport.

The away kit was leaked online on Tuesday, as Leeds left-back Junior Firpo was pictured in the kit which also has matching yellow shorts and socks, with a blue adidas logo on the shorts and blue taping and LUFC scripture on the socks.

Leeds United board break silence after transfer window with statement on upcoming Elland Road development — YEP 2/9/24

By Joe Donnohue Leeds United have confirmed supporters' commemorative stones at Elland Road's Centenary Square will be replaced free of charge in a bid to improve their longevity. Beginning next month, Leeds supporters' personalised stones will be replaced with exact replicas, courtesy of a new company, to ensure of a 'much better quality' installation. The work is expected to take around two months to complete. An official club statement confirmed 'three larger stones dedicated to former managers Don Revie, Howard Wilkinson and Marcelo Bielsa' will also be installed, 'similar to those located in Bremner Square', while additional space for supporters to purchase new stones has also been factored into the project. “The club have taken on board recent feedback from supporters on the stones at Centenary Square, and we are really happy that we can now announce that all of the stones will be replaced," chief executive Angus Kinnear confirmed,

By Graham Smyth Leeds United are not actively looking to cash in on Crysencio Summerville and Willy Gnonto and believe any further outgoing transfer business will be done on their terms. The Whites, who sold Archie Gray to Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday for £40m, expect that there will be continued interest in wing pair Summerville and Gnonto as the summer transfer window progresses.
