Take Passion Out of Equation – Leeds Manager Darko Milanic Urges Intelligent Approach Against Sheffield Wednesday

Inside Futbol 4/10/14
Leeds United manager Darko Milanic wants his side to avoid being caught up in the emotion of a Yorkshire derby today against Sheffield Wednesday.
The Whites welcome the Owls to Elland Road for a crucial Championship clash, armed with the knowledge that the last time they faced their opponents they were drubbed 6-0.
Milanic insists he understands the nature of a local derby, but has asked his players not to become too emotional about the occasion.
"You have to take the right direction, not too emotional. You have to be very intelligent to play these games", the Slovenian, who experienced the famous Partizan-Red Star Belgrade derby as a player, told LUTV.
"You have to be motivated but in the same moment you have to control your emotions."
Milanic also explained he feels the Owls will adopt a direct approach against his side and put in a full shift, which his men must match.
"They play very directly. They have one striker and he is the target for them.
"They work hard for 90 minutes, very hard. Their away results say a lot about them."
