United striker McCormack looks to the Burnley game: Burnley the perfect game

United striker Ross McCormack insists that Saturday’s trip to face Burnley could be the perfect game to use as a platform to bounce back.
The United skipper says that the team are upbeat and are looking for a positive result this weekend.
“The mood is not the best it has been all season, I’ll be honest,” admitted the forward. “The boys took part in training and were looking upbeat.
“We are all looking forward to Saturday’s game. Burnley is probably the perfect game.
“After two heavy defeats we’ll go to Burnley with everyone expecting us to get beat by three or four with the way they are scoring goals. We’ll go there and get a positive result.”
Ross, who is the league’s top marksman with 23 goals, welcomes the pressure of playing in front of big crowds as United supporters are expected to travel in numbers once again.
“You are playing in front of big crowds and when you go to away games you have three or four thousand fans there,” said McCormack.
“I think that this is a good club to play for and it is possibly the biggest club I’ll ever play for."
United head to Burnley looking to bounce back after two home defeats and the striker says it is how a team responds that counts.
“You can’t legislate for being 1-0 down and half time and then going 4-0 down before the hour-mark,” said Ross. “That can’t happen and that shouldn’t happen and hopefully that won’t happen again.
“As to why that happened, I’m not sure. It’s hard to put your finger on it, whether it’s mistakes or people not doing there jobs. These things happen in football but it is about how you bounce back.
“Despite the defeats the lads seem upbeat because in terms of results they want to go and put them right. We are fortunate in this league that there are a lot of games to put it right so quickly. That is what we are looking to do.”
