Pascal Struijk: We’re disappointed to come away with nothing — Leedsunited.com 9/3/25
Defender shares his reaction to defeat at Portsmouth.
Pascal Struijk spoke to LUTV after his Leeds United side
lost away at Portsmouth, ending a 17-match unbeaten run for the Whites.
A second half goal from the hosts was enough, in a match
where Leeds did have chances themselves, but the focus now turns to bouncing
back against Millwall at Elland Road on Wednesday.
“We had a few chances and we didn't score them,” Struijk
explained, after the game.
“Then as well, they are a good side, especially at home. If
you look at the home record in 2025, it has been really good.
“So we knew it was going to be a tough game, just
disappointed that we came away with nothing.
“Games come really fast, so we have to turn it around quick.
We will try to make sure the boys are not too down, we try to keep the spirits
high, because the games come so quick. We need to be ready again on Wednesday.
“This is the Championship, so I am going to say one of the
toughest leagues out there, you play so many games and they come around really
fast. On Wednesday, we will go again.”
