Junior Firpo wins JD Sports Player of the Month award for February — Leedsunited.com 6/3/25

With six goal contributions to his name during February, it will be of little surprise to Leeds fans that Junior Firpo has been selected as their JD Sports Player of the Month for February.

With thousands of fans voting for their standout player, the Dominican Republic international won with 30%, closely followed by Dan James (20%), Ao Tanaka (11%) and Manor Solomon (9%).

Firpo kicked off the month in style, as he provided three assists in the 7-0 win against Cardiff City, before getting a further two in the wins over Watford and Sheffield United.

Playing every minute in the league for the Whites during February, the defender also bagged the equaliser against Sheffield United, the first goal of a stunning comeback, which saw Leeds win 3-1 at Bramall Lane.
