Leeds United receive huge Championship promotion boost after Ipswich stumble — Leeds Live 10/4/24
Leeds United remain in the race for a top-two Championship finish along with Ipswich Town and Leicester City
Leeds United's promotion hopes were this evening boosted
after Ipswich Town were held to a goalless draw at home to Watford.
This was only the second time this season Kieran McKenna's

Wednesday night's result means Leeds are only one point
behind both Ipswich and Leicester City with four games to play, though the
latter do have a game in hand on second and third.
Daniel Farke's side could have been sat top of the
Championship table on 90 points had they defeated Sunderland on Tuesday, though
the visitors limited Leeds to few clear-cut opportunities in the final third to
earn a share of the spoils.
Ipswich made second-half substitutes against Watford on
Wednesday night as they searched for a winning goal, though the dramatic finale
produced in their recent 3-2 victory over Southampton could not be replicated.
The Tractor Boys will play again on home soil this weekend
when Middlesborough make the trip to East Anglia for a 7.45pm kick-off. Leeds
will host Blackburn Rovers, who remain embroiled in a battle to avoid
relegation after losing heavily at Bristol City on Wednesday, while Leicester
are away at
