Haigh first to go as Cellino wields the axe

New Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino is already sharpening his axe at Elland Road after announcing that he has fired David Haigh in an interview with the Sun.
Cellino won his appeal against the Football League to buy a 75 per cent controlling stake in Leeds United on Saturday, something Haigh welcomed, but it now seems he will be the first to be given the sack at the club.
Haigh, who has been the clubs Managing Director under GFH Capital was due to take up a chief executive role under Cellino.
Last weekend, Cellino called Haigh 'the devil` after being caught out by a Leeds United supporter in a recorded interview and it seems he has wasted no time in getting rid of Haigh, who gave up his role within GFH Capital to concentrate on his job at Elland Road only last month.
Cellino told the Sun newspaper, "You`re fired. David has to go. I have had too much of him."
Cellino is expected to arrive in England on Monday when he plans to give a press conference, something that is sure to be colourful.
