Jack Harrison 'close' to making Everton switch as financial details outlined — Yorkshire Post 19/6/24

Leeds United winger Jack Harrison is reportedly close to
joining Everton on loan for a second consecutive season.
The 27-year-old was among the players who left Leeds on loan
last summer, taking advantage of relegation clauses that allowed for temporary
exits. Despite starting the 2023/24 season injured, he soon became a key figure
for the Toffees.
He now appears set to return to Goodison Park, with The
Athletic claiming he is close to making a second loan move to the club. The
report claims that while the deal is not done, it is expected there will be no
loan fee.
Instead, Everton will cover Harrison’s wages completely for
the duration of his loan spell. The winger, a former England under-21
international, is reportedly keen on a return to Merseyside.
Harrison initially joined Leeds on loan in 2018, making the
move from Manchester City ahead of Marcelo Bielsa’s first season at the helm.
He went on to spend three seasons on loan at Elland Road before he was signed
permanently in 2021.
After joining Everton last year, he said: “I saw a club with
good foundations. The responsibility is on the players pretty much and seeing
the set-up I thought if I came here with the right mentality, I can succeed.
“I never want to be relegated again. It's a motivator for me
to make sure it doesn't happen. It's something I need to take responsibility
for, to help drive Everton to where it belongs. This club shouldn't be fighting
relegation.”
