“I am responsible” – Image emerges of Leeds United’s Andrea Radrizzani appearing to own up to 22/23 disaster - Leeds All Over 30/4/23

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has owned up to the
failings of this season following a 4-1 loss to Bournemouth.
An image has surfaced during the events of the defeat which
appears to show Radrizzani accepting the responsibility for this campaign, with
Leeds on the brink of relegation from the top flight.
Javi Gracia’s side conceded twice in the first half to Bournemouth
to Jefferson Lerma, before Patrick Bamford’s goal reduced the deficit before
half-time.
It wasn’t to be for the Whites as Dominic Solanke added a
third and Antoine Semenyo a fourth to put the game out of sight. The result
leaves them on 30 points with four games remaining to save their season.
Leeds end the campaign against Manchester City (A),
Newcastle United (H), West Ham United (A), and Tottenham Hotspur (H).
What’s Radrizzani said about relegation?
The Leeds majority owner appears to have accepted the blame
for the season as a whole, via Conor McGilligan of the Manchester Evening News,
who shared their interaction on Twitter.
He said: “I am broken. I am responsible for this s**t.
Unacceptable. You don’t deserve this. Ridiculous.”
The season is over. Leeds will almost certainly be relegated
for losing a must-win game. The situation is beyond bleak.
It’s good that Radrizzani is owning up to his mistakes as
the majority of the blame absolutely falls on him and the rest of the
hierarchy.
It is impossible to ignore and Leeds fans will rightfully be
fuming with the situation. All the good work they did in hiring Bielsa and
returning the club to the top flight has been completely undone.
His position is untenable. Radrizzani must depart the club
in the summer. It would be impossible to fix the relationship with the fans
now.
