Leeds United still working on new transfer, could be last of window - Fabrizio Romano - MOT 1/9/22
By Mark Smith
Leeds United could complete the final transfer of all clubs
in this window as the deadline quickly approaches, according to Fabrizio Romano
and his team.
The reliable journalist has shared that despite a move for
Marseille striker Bamba Dieng collapsed spectacularly earlier on deadline day
much to our disappointment.
Leeds have not rested though, and now they are working hard
behind the scenes at Elland Road way into the night with extensions available
if applied for.
Speaking live on his Twitch as shared on Twitter later,
Romano dropped the bombshell news that the Whites may not be done in this
window.
“I’m going to tell you that Leeds are doing something,” he
said.

“They are not done with Bamba Dieng collapsing.”
Romano’s co-host then added on: “They might be the last
transfer of the deadline day.”
Here We Go.
Who could it be?
There have been whispers that a move for Blackburn forward
Ben Brereton-Diaz is of interest late in this window as he has entered the final
year of his contract at Ewood Park.
This has come out of nowhere, and everything would likely be
forgiven if a huge transfer was completed for an attacker to come in and
strengthen this side.
Jesse Marsch will no doubt be on the edge of his seat as he
will know the identity of who is being worked on, and just having everything
crossed that it can be finalised.
It looks as though it will be a new striker, as Romano
shared that update on his Twitter after as the excitement starts to really
build around Elland Road and West Yorkshire.
Will it be Hwang Hee-Chan from Wolves? That is a real
possibility given our previous interest but now we are all just waiting and an
extension is likely past the 11 pm deadline.
All eyes are now on Leeds, bring it on.
