Leeds United's £237m market value compared to Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and other Premier League rivals after summer spending - Yorkshire Post 7/9/22
Leeds United have the 15th most valuable squad in the Premier League following the summer transfer window, according to data from transfermarkt.co.uk.

Following the summer spending, the combined value of Premier
League clubs now stands at a staggering £8.34bn, up from £7.96bn this time last
year.
Clubs will not be able to sign any new players until
January, unless they opt to explore the free agent market.
Values of squads change based on the arrivals of new players
while player’s values can go up or down depending on form.
According to transfermarkt, Manchester City have the most
valuable squad in the division, coming in at £937.17m. That value is almost
£150m more than rivals Liverpool, whose squad is valued at £794.7m.
Chelsea (£718.65m), Manchester United (£675.27m), Tottenham
Hotspur (£591.57m) and Arsenal (£554.85m) make up the rest of the top six.
Aston Villa, with a value of £468.54m, have the most
valuable squad outside the top six while Leicester City’s side is also valued
over the £400m mark at £430.47m while West Ham (£389.25m) and Everton
(£366.98m) make up the top 10.
Leeds come in at 15th with a value of £237.42m, behind
Wolves (£325.67m), Newcastle United (£320.67m), Brentford (£255.24m) and
Crystal Palace (£241.20m) while Southampton are placed just behind Leeds with a
squad value of £234.77m.
After an incredibly-busy summer, Nottingham Forest have seen
the biggest rise in value over the last 12 months, with their squad now rated
at £223.38m – up from £40.77m this time last year.
Brighton are currently outperforming their squad value with
Graham Potter’s side fourth after six games despite having the 18th most
valuable squad at £222.03m, only ahead of Fulham (£202.50m) and AFC Bournemouth
(£150.66m).
