Leeds turn down £6 million bid for McCormack
Leeds United turned down a reported £6 million bid from Cardiff City late last night for striker Ross McCormack.
News broke yesterday afternoon that Cardiff had seen a bid turned down by Leeds, believed to be in the region of £4 million for McCormack, who arrived at Elland Road from Cardiff in 2010.
McCormack stated last night that he was happy at Leeds but that changed following the dismissal of manager Brian McDermott, alerting a number of clubs.
Six clubs were believed to be in the chase for McCormack, who has netted 19 goals for Leeds this season, as the transfer window neared a close.
