McDermott disappointed with loss
Leeds United boss Brian McDermott said he was disappointed after seeing his side lose for the first time this season.
In a game of very few clear-cut chances, visitors Queens Park Rangers scored the only goal of the game with fifteen minutes remaining.
"I was disappointed to lose,"McDermott told his post-match press conference.
'Did we do enough to win? Probably not. Did we deserve to lose? Probably not.
'We got done at a set-play and there weren`t many chances for either side.
"We didn`t do enough with or without the ball. We were diligent and solid and never looked like losing, so to get beat the way we did is always disappointing."
The game always looked like being settled by a solitary goal and it was when Rangers defender Clint Hill scored from close range after Leeds failed to deal with a free kick.
Leeds almost hung onto their unbeaten start to the season in the final seconds when Rodolph Austin saw his long-range effort hit the woodwork with Rangers goalkeeper Robert Green beaten.
With the international break giving the championship a weekend off, Leeds will now prepare for a tough double header away from home at Bolton Wanderers and Reading when they return to action.
