Green light given as Leeds United set to agree £3M deal — Leeds Press 26/8/25

Clubs now have less than a week to wrap up their transfer business; Leeds United are already working on theirs. The club announced their 10th summer signing on Monday night.

Daniel Farke has been asking for reinforcements over the past few weeks, and the club have given him three signings since then. Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Noah Okafor and now James Justin have all arrived.

£3.46M deal agreed as Leeds United star makes shock departure

Seeing how the game against Arsenal went over the weekend, Daniel Farke now knows the level of quality needed in the Premier League. And it is very possible that the club are not done with their business.

Now that James Justin has arrived on a permanent deal, Leeds can give the green light for another deal. Werder Bremen had an agreement in principle to sign Isaac Schmidt on loan last month, but Daniel Farke needed a replacement to sanction the deal.

With Justin signed, the Swiss defender can now join the Bundesliga club. But according to Mike McGrath, it looks like the move will now be a permanent transfer instead of a loan deal. Werder Bremen are currently negotiating a deal worth £3million for the defender.

The club can finally move on from a player who was not really liked by Daniel Farke. Schmidt could be set to leave after just one year at Elland Road.

Who else could leave this week?

The Whites are also working on the departure of Largie Ramazani. After being left out of the matchday squad to face Arsenal, it was revealed that Leeds were in talks with Valencia over a loan move.

The player has already given the green light for the move, and the Spanish side are in talks to finalize the details. But there are still a host of players that could still depart including Patrick Bamford, Sam Greenwood and Illan Meslier.
