I hear you all. Since june 2023 I have been criticized, abused, insulted any time I say a word about anything. It doesn’t change that we (management and all club employees) invested , transformed modernized the club and finally achieved historical promotion after 17y thanks to MB

Andrea Radrizzani has come in for plenty of criticism since
his time at Leeds United came to an end and he has just issued a stark defence
of his time at the club.
Radrizzani first invested in Leeds back in January 2017 when
he bought a 50 per cent stake from Massimo Cellino, before then taking full
control just a few months later.
After a difficult first full season in charge, Leeds’
fortunes turned on the pitch following the appointment of Marcelo Bielsa.
Bielsa helped Leeds end their 16-year wait for Premier
League football by securing promotion in his second season, which should’ve
made Radrizzani’s tenure as owner be forever remembered positively.
However, after securing a ninth-place finish in the first
season back, it all began unravelling for Radrizzani following Leeds’ second
summer transfer window in the top-flight.
Not only did the poor managerial appointments and dreadful
player recruitment turn fans against him, but also how Radrizzani constantly
embarrassed himself in public.
Radrizzani claimed Leeds had no chance of being relegated at
the beginning of the season they went down, while also announced the ‘signing’
of Bamba Dieng before it was even official. Needless to say, the transfer fell
through.
After leaving Leeds completely last summer, Radrizzani came
under even more scrutiny when he offered to use Elland Road as security in his
bid to buy Sampdoria.
With Radrizzani still an active user of X (formerly
Twitter), his replies after often flooded with criticism from Leeds fans, and
this week has been no different after a comment to Elon Musk telling him to
become the president of Italy.
And clearly on Sunday morning the stick has become too much
for him, as he tweeted a stark defence of his time at the club.
He said: “I hear you all. Since June 2023 I have been
criticised, abused, insulted anytime I say a word about anything. It doesn’t
change that we (management and club employees) invested, transformed,
modernized the club and finally achieved historical promotion after 17 years
thanks to MB.”
Though some of the criticism Radrizzani faces maybe a tad
unfair, he doesn’t help himself by constantly responding to Leeds fans.
In doing so, he is only going to light the fuse further and
open himself up to more ‘abuse’, which clearly he isn’t dealing with
particularly well.
Radrizzani just needs to stop interacting with anything to
do with Leeds and soon enough he will very quickly be forgotten.
That said, his attempts at using Elland Road as part of his
deal to buy Sampdoria was unforgivable and so he shouldn’t be surprised that
his time at the club is no longer looked back on positively.
MC did a great job to “clean” the past debts and make the
club much more sustainable. I developed and put it back in the map of the world
(thanks to MB who set a new work ethic and we supported unconditionally with
infrastructure and recruitment) …now Paraag and Co. will take Leeds to the next
level. We can see a lot of improvements already. I had hard time but I love
Leeds and want to see you joyful (these time with a full stadium) . I regret MB
couldn’t come back to save us as I wished, the only one who could have done it.
Past is past. Let s go Leeds
