Whites pursuit of Southend United winger set to be finalised

Leeds United’s pursuit of winger Ryan Hall is set to be finalised today, with a three-month loan deal - with a view to a permanent move - having reportedly been struck.
Hall has been talking personal terms with United and is thought to be keen on a move north.
The 24-year-old has been poised to join Blackpool last month after Pool agreed a fee with Southend, but couldn’t agree terms.
Peterborough are also known admirers and remain in the market, despite seeing a deadline-day move fall through.
Meanwhile, United are keeping their fingers crossed midfield hard man Rodolph Austin gets through Jamaica’s World Cup qualifying clash against Antigua and Barbuda in Kingston today unscathed.
The 27-year-old is due back in England on Thursday, just 36 hours before United’s televised derby clash at Sheffield Wednesday.
Tom Lees, an unused sub in England U21s’ narrow Euro 2013 play-off first-leg win over Serbia on Friday, will be hoping for action in tonight’s second leg in Krusevac.
