Leeds United braced for relegation question after Nottingham Forest as horrid winter schedule looms — Leeds Live 9/11/25
The match verdict on Leeds United's display vs Nottingham Forest in today's Premier League game

Sometimes teams can get accused of not seeing the wood for
the trees but Nottingham Forest showed that Leeds United need to start looking
at the big picture.
Daniel Farke often refers to statistics after away games,
whether its xG, possession or corners. But ultimately, Leeds have picked up
just three points from six away games this season.
It took until 74 minutes before Farke made a change, by
which time Forest had turned the game around to 2-1 by a Morgan Gibbs-White
header.
Leeds had gone ahead through a clinical Lukas Nmecha strike
on 13 minutes but were pegged back just two minutes later when Ibrahima Sangare
swept home a cut-back.
Farke was left shaking his head by the end when substitute
Jack Harrison brought down Omari Hutchinson in the box, allowing Elliot
Anderson to smash home from the spot.
Leeds goalkeeper Lucas Perri was forced to parry a shot for
a corner inside 90 seconds when Morgan Gibbs-White was given time to fire at
goal from the edge of the box.
Perri produced his best save yet for Leeds on 12 minutes
when a deflected effort caught him out - the Brazilian was diving the wrong way
but managed to claw a shot off the goal-line off balance. The flag went up for
offside so it may not have counted but nothing should be taken away from his
athleticism.
Leeds then transitioned back up the other end and found the
lead through Nmecha, his low strike into the corner from just inside the box on
the angle sending the away support wild.
But hands in the air soon turned to hands on heads when
Sangare equalised less than two minutes later. Dan Ndoye received the ball on
the right after good control by James Garner and his cross was palmed back by
Perri into the path of Sangere, who had an easy finish given the goalkeeper was
grounded.
Forest looked the most likely to score next, with several
efforts going only slightly wayward after making the most of their possession.
But the only real highlight for the rest of the first half was when Forest fan
Stephen Crean - the man who saved lives by confronting the Huntingdon train
attacker - went down the concourse to rapturous from all of those in the main
stand.
Both sides managed to win corners down the flank in the
opening phases of the second half - the best of which came from Gabriel
Gudmundsson, who ran three-quarters of the pitch, beating two players and
getting to the byline before his pullback was cleared.
Sean Dyche made three changes just before the hour mark and
on 68 minutes, substitute Omari Hutchinson crossed for Gibbs-White to head home
unmarked from six yards out.
Bijol had enjoyed a good game but he will be disappointed
that neither he or Joe Rodon tracked the goalscorer.
Daniel James, a substitute for Leeds, flahsed a shot in on
78 minutes, forcing Matz Selz to plam the ball away before Gudmundsson smashed
his effort off target.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin came off the bench to rise high from a
corner and nod narrowly wide with five minutes to go.
But Forest would have the last laugh with Harrison bringing
down Hutchinson in the area to concede a penalty. Anderson made no mistake from
the spot - Leeds fans went home thinking Farke made a number of mistakes.
