This is the breathtaking new Leeds United mural on the side of a pub which is due to be completed this weekend.

Artist Phil Harris designed the brilliant artwork on the side of The Yorkshire Rose in Guiseley.

It depicts the three managers who have brought the football club to glory, Don Revie, Howard Wilkinson and Marcelo Bielsa.

Phil said although it will be finished by Sunday, residents are already impressed by the artwork.

Speaking to Leeds Live, he said: “It’s going okay, it’s the weather you have to be concerned about.

“It’s going really well, the amount of popularity it gained with the locals. The locals love it, they’re going mental for it.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the mural, he continued: “The story behind it its the cup thats depicted on the Championship cup and the three managers Revie, Wilkinson and Bielsa that have gained us the promotion into the top.

“The three managers that have won us the cup and given hope for the next season thats what I tried to create, it’s something different.

"I'm happy with the way it's going."

The Whites have long admired Cameron Archer of Southampton and made enquiries in previous windows but as reports emerge that an approach has been rejected by the Saints, the YEP understands that Leeds will continue to monitor his situation. Southampton are not currently willing to sanction an exit for a player who has started 10 games in the Premier League and made 25 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
