Rudy Austin gives his verdict on Sunday's win...
United skipper Rudy Austin was quick to share the plaudits after Sunday's win against Birmingham City by paying tribute to the performance of his team-mates.
The Jamaican returned from international duty to score his first Leeds goal of the season as United swept aside Birmingham by four clear goals.
Austin, who played in an advanced role in a new-look midfield, was named man of the match by both Sky Sports and the club’s sponsors, but he was keen to share the plaudits.
“It was a very good display and we are very thankful for the win,” he said.
“We needed the win and the three points, and the boys were hungry for it. We did well.
“It’s an honour to be captain and represent this club, but this was a very good team performance.”
