Rotherham United pip Doncaster in chase for ex-Leeds United star White

FORMER Leeds United utility man Aidy White has joined Championship rivals Rotherham United on a free transfer.
The Otley-born player, 23, who was freed by his boyhood club last month, has joined the Millers on a 12-month deal, after completing of a medical.
Several rival Championship clubs had enquired about the services of White, who made 111 appearances during his time at Elland Road, where he worked under seven different managers or head coaches in eight years.
A number of League One clubs including Doncaster Rovers had also thrown their hat into the ring to sign White.
Meanwhile, Leeds head coach Uwe Rosler has made his first signing of the summer, bringing in USA under-23 international goalkeeper Charlie Horton on a two-year deal.
The 20-year-old worked with new United goalkeeping coach Richard Hartis at Cardiff City last term, having spent 2013-14 at Peterborough United after arriving in England from the USA.
United are expected to unveil their second summer signng today, confirming a deal to sign Motherwell forward Lee Erwin, 21, on a six-figure development fee.
