Tom Lees completed his transfer to Sheffield Wednesday on Thursday morning after passing a medical with the South Yorkshire side.
Tom has moved moved to our fellow Yorkshire side for an undisclosed fee.
The defender has signed a three-year contract and was present in the stands at the Owls’ pre-season friendly with Newcastle United on Wednesday evening.
The 23-year-old has made over 130 senior appearances for United since he graduated from the Leeds United Academy and signed professional terms in 2009, he is also a former England Under-21.
The club would like to thank Tom, who has been at the club since he was eight-years-old, and we wish him the very best for the future.
