Am told that GFH have now offered Ken Bates compensation for missing last week's scheduled payment on the agreed £17million takeover of the club.
Questions continue to be asked about why a Bahraini venture capital company that has described reductions in its parent company's asset valuations of over £1billion as "peanuts" negotiated to pay the purchase price in instalments ahead of a proposed 21 December handover in the first place.
And if they are having problems making payment dates on the acquisition of the club will they also have problems providing significant funds for new players and contracts post-completion?
