READING are declining to comment on speculation linking academy manager Eamonn Dolan to the vacant managerial position at Leeds United.
Dolan has been propelled to the top of the betting to replace former Royals boss Brian McDermott, with former Whites chief Gary McAllister and ex-Forest Green manager Dave Hockaday also figuring prominently in the running.
Leeds owner Massimo Cellino has confirmed he is looking for a British coach to take over at head coach at Elland Road and is thought to have interviewed three candidates over the weekend.
Cellino is believed to be keen on a head coach working under a director of football, with Dolan having performed that role previously during his association with Exeter City, where he worked under Steve Perryman.
