Defender Charlie Taylor extends loan to stay on at Fleetwood

United defender Charlie Taylor is to remain at Fleetwood Town till the end of the season.
The left-back joined the seaside outfit in October, initially for a month, which was extended till January and now the youngster will remain at Fleetwood till the end of the season.
The 20-year-old defender has made 13 appearances so far this season, including two outings in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
The League Two side currently hold third place in the table and are just two points away from top spot.

While the first team is preparing for the next friendly against Villarreal, the U21s side, with a host of first team stars, thrashed Norweigian side Lyn 1896 10-2 in a pre-season friendly this afternoon. There were some surprising names on the scoresheet – Patrick Bamford scored, Sam Greenwood netted a brace and Joe Gelhardt scored four goals in the game.
