Largie Ramazani on verge of move to Valencia from Leeds United — The Leeds Press 23/8/25

by Kwadwo Hemeng

Leeds United were on the end of a brutal defeat from Arsenal. Mikel Arteta’s side managed to put five goals past the Whites, in a performance that fans would not like to repeat itself.

Before the game both managers were vocal about the style they would approach the game with. Farke said Leeds would stick to their style, while Mikel Arteta said he had assessed the Whites and was impressed with what he saw. It looks like the Arsenal boss’ analysis paid off as the Gunners completely dominated the game.

After the loss, Daniel Farke said Arsenal were the better side on the day:

”Arsenal deserved to win the game with a proper goal difference. Not sure if it was 5-0. Five shots on target and scored from them all.

”When a team like Arsenal are on it, one of best in Europe, then it’s always difficult.”

There was a surprise selection when the team news came out early on Saturday. Largie Ramazani was missing from the squad to face Arsenal, as new signing Noah Okafor made the team.

After the game, Daniel Farke was adamant that the decision was ”not against” the Belgian winger:

“It was due to Okafor coming in, not against Largie. Gnonto was going to start. Jack Harrison is the hard worker as a defensive winger.”

Now, reports from Radio Marca Valencia have reported that the forward is set to join Valencia. The deal will be a season-long loan, with the winger already haven given the green light to the La Liga side.

Pending exit could open the door for another signing this week

Ramazani leaving Elland Road is a huge decision, but could potentially signal another arrival this week. There are still a handful of Leeds United targets available who could be signed by the end of the week.

So it could be a bitter-sweet transfer decision for the club’s fans.
