Byram: Injury update

The manager on injured United defender...
Brian McDermott says teenage defender Sam Byram may need surgery in a bid to cure his hip problem.
The youngster hasn't played since April and was forced to withdraw from the England Under-20s squad during the summer due to the problem.
"He's had an injection and he's resting at the moment," said the boss. "It might be that he needs an operation. We don't know at this stage. We'll see and we'll do what is best."
The boss was speaking at Lorimer's Bar on Monday evening. You can see the event serialised on LUTV later this week.
