McDermott - Takeover a weight off my shoulders

Leeds United boss Brian McDermott says it is a weight off his shoulders to hear the news that Massimo Cellino has won his appeal to take control of the club.
McDermott has been left in limbo since the turn of the year with the prospective takeover of the club dragging on for over three months.
The news was announced after the game on Saturday that Cellino, who had been refused permission by the Football League to take over the club, had won his appeal and McDermott says it will be good to concentrate on things on the pitch once again.
Speaking after hearing the news, McDermott said, "It's a weight off my shoulders in the fact that I don't have to front up every press conference and talk about the ownership because that's all I've been doing for three months.
'I've not ducked any interview, I've been involved in every single interview and I've tried to answer the questions as best as I possibly can. It will be nice just to talk about the next game, try to get three points and see where we are as a football team. That's my job, not talking about ownerships.'
Whilst it is good news for the club that McDermott that the ownership issues at the club have been resolved, his future looks uncertain after another defeat on Saturday at Wigan. The 1-0 defeat at Wigan made it seven defeats in the last eight games and Cellino, who has already sacked McDermott once, could be ready to bring the 12-month reign of McDermott at Elland Road to an end.
Cellino sacked McDermott on the last day of the transfer window in January only for him to be reinstated by owners GFH Capital the following day. The Italian has an history of sacking managers having sacked 36 during his 22-years in charge with Italian Serie A side Cagliari.
Despite the relief of the takeover being completed, Elland Road is not a place to take your eyes off over the coming days and weeks.
