LUST AGM 11/10/12

From Twitter 11/10/12

When we put out a statement, we spend a lot of time verifying facts and being very careful with our language
At the beginning of the takeover we had information from 4 separate sources to verify information
The club have never said that our statements are false. We have not spoken to an employee of GFHC, we spoke to someone on their behalf
We are supportive of any organisation that agrees with our vision and is then able to fulfil those ambitions
Q from the floor....was ER and TA included in the deal? A - As far as we know it was not included in the current deal
Q Protests and pressure, do the Trust feel the support of the local press? The YEP have said good things but they have to consider big picture
The Trust is now dealing with a bigger standard of journalism due to our keeping confidences, building integrity within the press
From the floor, shame about current legends and their attitudes different with Dom Matteo who says how it is? Can he get involved with trust
Good relationship with Nigel Martyn & Dom and recently Brendan Ormsby. Positive experiences with all this year with them about the trust
Comment from floor...getting the media onside is critical to success of the trust. Another...good articles recently from YEP & Radio Leeds
Q from floor - if you had one message to give to David Haigh what would it be? A - put your money where your mouth is - Actions not words
Q - How do feel the response has been since the fans mtg with SH, WYP & FSF? A - Positive results but need to focus on consistency always
Club has briefed the stewards and has worked on changes as a result changes in style have been noted by many inc. lower purple bib profile
Meeting being closed and thanks given from Gary for attendees and all Trust supporters to push for change and support each other to do so continue despite detractors, when change happens lets stand together and push the team onwards and upward...thanks all
