CLUB CONFIRMS ENQUIRIES
Leeds United can confirm that we have received a number of enquires from both home and abroad in relation to our players.
Leeds United CEO Shaun Harvey said: "It would be naïve to believe that we would not receive any enquiries about our players who, collectively, achieved a seventh place finish in the Championship last season.
"We will continue our policy of not commenting on specific speculation, but would re-iterate our position that any players leaving will only do so in those circumstances that we believe represents the best interests of the club and has the full support of Simon Grayson.
"Our recruitment plans continue quietly behind the scenes and we have no intention of making public our targets."

The Whites are closing in on a deal for a centre-back as Jack Harrison closes on a move to Everton. By Mark Carruthers Leeds United are reportedly closing in on a £10million deal to make Liverpool defender Nat Phillips their fifth summer signing. Daniel Farke has already completed permanent deals for Chelsea defender Ethan Ampadu, Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow and former Norwich City full-back Sam Byram. The German dipped into the loan market last week when he persuaded Tottenham Hotspur to allow centre-back Joe Rodon to spend the season at Elland Road. By Callum O'Connell Everton have been in touch with Leeds United again over a potential deal to sign Wilfried Gnonto, but there is no truth to reports claiming a fee has been agreed, according to Shamoon Hafez. The BBC Sports reporter shared via his personal Twitter account that, despite reports in Italy claiming a £38.5million deal had been agreed between the two clubs, the Italian’s valuation has not yet been met. A report from Italian outlet Sports Mediaset earlier today claimed an agreement had been reached, and that Gnonto would say goodbye to Leeds, but that appears to have been played down now.
